This character emerges when a person subconsciously achieves a dialogue with the facility and feels good and at ease with a sense of place.

'Spirit of place', which is the heart and soul of our buildings, gives a building personality and atmosphere. It allows them to age well, be timeless in character and be seen as more than the physical elements like brick and stone. Without 'Spirit of place', one has merely developed a building process; sheer materiality devoid of meaning and emotions. True architecture gives human attributes to the built environment.
